Follow Friday Question: “It’s that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?”

A: A lot of books I’ve really enjoyed and imagined myself in (yes, I’m a dork) are Dystopians. But honestly, I think I’d die within 5 minutes if a world like Divergent was real life. I wouldn’t be a Dauntless, that’s for sure…So, I think I’m going to have to go with The Girl in the Steel Corset!

With my recent Steampunk jewelry posts, I’m quickly becoming a huge steampunk fan. I would love to wear an amazing steel corset and ride around on a velocycle while kicking some automaton butt!!

Although I would probably want to avoid the evil killer Machinest…

What book would you want to be transformed to reality?

    Hi & Happy Friday!

I’d be too chicken to live in a Dystopian world! I haven’t read The Girl in the Steel Corset..

    Have a nice weekend!

I wouldn’t want to live in a Steampunk world haha but I did love The Girl in the Steel Corset.. but psst.. that list bit about the machinest is a bit spoilery for people who haven’t read the book yet :/ Since we don’t learn until more than halfway in the motive and overall mission of the machinest…

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Have a great week!

    • April- Thanks for pointing that out! I hate spoilers but for some reason didn’t even think of that! I guess it’s been awhile since I read it! Whoops!

  • Hopping through. I still need to read Girl in the Steel Corset. If you like Steampunk, have you read Greyfriar by Clay and Susan Griffith yet? It’s fantastic.

Old follower stopping by. That would definitely be a fun world to make reality, fashion-wise. After reading Girl in the Steel Corset I was in a period piece mood and started watching things set in that timeline. Great choice! 🙂

Great response! I havent read that book yet, but I have heard it’s good!

    Here is my FF!

  • I had problems picking a world as well – I don’t think I’d do too well surviving blood sucking demons and other creatures.

    Happy FF!

Hi and Happy Friday. New follower!
I would want the sanctuary of Fablehaven to be real.
The series is by Brandon Mull. Sanctuary has good and
    evil magical creatures.

I think that steampunk would be a great idea! Love the costumes!

  • LOL I’d be dying right after or before you, because I’m SURE I wouldn’t make it. I haven’t read Steel Corset yet but it’s in my TBR pile…hopefully I can get to it soon to see why you chose it! 🙂

  • I enjoy my freedom too much. I would hate to live in a Dystopian world, even though sometimes I feel like our world is moving in that direction. I’d rather be in a fantasy and do magic! 🙂

I didn’t even think of The Girl in the Steel Corset, but I’d love to live in that world. I’ve been on a total steampunk kick ever since reading it.
