Today’s Question: Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her.”

My husband’s favorite genre is IT or business-y technical books, so I’m super lucky to have my best friend Kelli to talk to about all things books! :) We’ve passed books back and forth since high school and, after rooming together for 5 years, our book-sharing habits have only gotten worse. We’ve shared the entire Inheritance series, The Hunger Games trilogy, all of Maria V. Snyder’s books and many more!

Our bookish ways have now extended to include ALL of our friends. Example: After our freshman year in college, Kelli and I lived with two of our closest friends (Kelly and Jen). When Twilight came out, we had a rotation going around of all of the books. It got so bad that there would be late-night knocking of doors to frantically get the next book because waiting till the morning just wasn’t an option. (I’m looking at you, Kelly!!) 😀

Jen, me and Kelli at the midnight premiere of Eclipse!

I get such a rush from discussing books, like should this character and that character end up together? Why was this information mentioned, and what does it mean for the whole series?? I <3 it and can’t get enough.

Now through blogging, my circle of fellow book lovers has grown and my obsession with discussing books has gotten out of control!

Who do you share your book love with??

Hi Lisa! Thanks for stopping by!

It sounds really nice being able to share the experience with your friends. I wish I had that.*sigh* At least I have a boy who tries to listen the best he can. 😉

Hopping through. I have a few fellow Twi-hards among my friends to whom I can gush, but no one who reads YA as much as I do.

A rotation? That’s such a brilliant idea! My lending habits tend to just be me gathering books in a pile and shoving them at someone. Then occasionally taking a second pile back home with me. But a rotation is genius!
Thanks for the follow (I’ve returned it!) and have a great weekend!
