As you might have guessed….this is not a post about Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The reason it’s not a post about that book is because I haven’t finished reading it yet 
Sadly, I am currently on page 503 (out of 870). Phew, there’s a long way to go, but I thought I’d share a timely anecdote.
My husband and I recently went to a corn maze about an hour away from where we live. It was a-maze-ing! haha I couldn’t resist! But, seriously, it was so fun—AND it reminded me sooo much of the final scene of HP and the Goblet of Fire with the giant maze set up on the quidditch field for the Triwizard Champions.
Corn stalks as far as the eye can see...or about 7 acres worth.
This maze was so fun and super challenging. The fact that it made me feel like I was in a Harry Potter book was just icing on the cake- or, should I say- butter on the cob
I now have corn joke ammo for like 5 years! These people obviously appreciate a good corn joke, anyway.
We definitely were "cornfused" by the end. I'm not ashamed to say we cheated a bit to find our way out!

My goal at this point is to finish Order of the Phoenix by Thursday and read most of the Half-Blood Prince this weekend. Heh…we’ll see. I may resort to bringing in Deathly Hallows into the midnight movie with me! Ah!
