Let’s Discuss: The Book You Told Everyone About

There’s this quote from The Fault in Our Stars that is SO TRUE that I think about it and nod my head in agreement every time:

john green quote book zeal

Can you relate with this? Let’s talk about what book filled you with righteous book ZEAL.

Let’s Discuss: The Book You Told Everyone About

It’s normal to feel this way about books, right? ….

books you can't stop talking about discussion post

What book makes you want to tell everyone about it?!

For me, whenever I talk to anyone about Harry Potter I almost lose it. Especially when they’re as obsessed as I am. I’m re-watching the movies with my husband (he hasn’t read the books and doesn’t really read fiction – how we got married, I dunno) and even though he absolutely doesn’t care, I share with him how the book is different every 10 minutes. He loves it, I can tell.

Also, these books had me raving and jumping and after I finished them:

  • Divergent
  • Shadow and Bone
  • Mystic and Rider
  • The Fault in Our Stars
  • These Broken Stars
  • Eleanor and Park
  • Snow Like Ashes
  • Love and Other Foreign Words
  • Graceling
  • Throne of Glass

All of these books ended with me in awe and just savoring up the last moments of the story. And, they’re all on my best of the best reading list.

Ah, the life of a book nerd. May we ever evangelize our most beloved titles.

About Lisa Parkin

I'm a hardcore lover of young adult fiction and have been reviewing books since 2011. Other interests include Downton Abbey, heat lightning storms, Harry Potter land and (begrudingly) one orange tabby.
  • I love talking to other people who love Harry Potter. Those are always the most fun conversations.
Anyway, the books I always try to tell everyone about is The Bronze Horseman series. They are beyond amazing for me and I just want EVERYONE to read them and experience the wonderful!

I may have just finished the first three Throne of Glass books in two days… and immediately blogged about it 🙂 That series is definitely on my rave list!

  • I love telling people about the Outlander series! I’ve been a fan for years now, but with the new show on Starz, I’m happy to see a lot more people becoming interested in this amazing series!
