Save The Dates: Top Spring 2015 YA Books

In order to keep our YA fangirl status, we have to stay informed. Knowledge is power, and power = books. Dunno if you knew that, but it’s science.

All of the spring 2015 YA books listed will publish in April and May, and almost all I have read and recommend OR have not read and are very highly anticipating. I hope you find it helpful and handy!

Save The Dates: Top Spring 2015 YA Books

top spring 2015 young adult books

None of the Above

none of the above top spring ya booksWhen: April 7
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: I’m going to be reading this for my book club very soon. This book deals with being intersex…and coping with this startling fact in high school. I love how the author tackles a topic that many would find uncomfortable and sheds light on this not-as-uncommon-as-you’d-think condition.

Dream a Little Dream

dream a little dream top spring 2015 ya booksWhen: April 14
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: I reviewed this book recently, and it’s a WINNER. London setting complete with a quirky-cute family and tons of eligible cuties.

The Girl at Midnight

the girl at midnight top young adult books spring 2015When: April 28
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: I will be reviewing this book tomorrow. It’s excellent and NOT to be missed! Think paranormal races in New York in a WHOLE NEW WAY.

An Ember in the Ashes

an ember in the ashes top ya booksWhen: April 28
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: This is a book to get excited about – a Roman world with a truly EPIC storyline. I can’t wait to share my thoughts soon!

The Fill-In Boyfriend

the fill-in boyfriend top spring ya booksWhen: May 5
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: I don’t think it’s a secret that I LOVE Kasie West’s work. This is a no-brainer, and I cannot WAIT to get my hands on this beautiful book.

The Heir

the heir top spring 2015 ya booksWhen: May 5
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: Despite a RIDICULOUS love triangle and a cookie-cutter ending, I am ready for the roles to be reversed. The reigning princess goes through the selection, and just like with The Bachelorette, seeing men fawn over a woman is much more appealing to me than the other way around.

A Court of Thorns and Roses

a court of thorns and roses best spring young adult booksWhen: May 5
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: I will post my review next week. ALJFOPEKLOIKJ THERE ARE NO WORDS!!!!

Saint Anything

saint anything top spring 2015 ya booksWhen: May 5
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: I am always up for a Sarah Dessen book. This one sounds particularly deep and moving. I feel like she’s growing and expanding her work, and it’s something I’m ready to read from her.

Crimson Bound

crimson bound best spring young adult booksWhen: May 5
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: This isn’t a sequel to Cruel Beauty, but it certainly has the retelling flair. Crimson Bound offers a new spin on Little Red Riding Hood and it is incredible!

The Wrath and the Dawn

the wrath and the dawn spring 2015 ya booksWhen: May 12
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: A retelling of A Thousand and One Nights, this book has a lot going for it. All I have to say for now is that it better be part of a series…

A School For Unusual Girls

a school for unusual girls top spring 2015 ya booksWhen: May 19
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: Again, this review is forthcoming. With a slight A Great and Terrible Beauty flair, I think a lot of readers will be interested in this one.

The Cage

the cage top spring ya booksWhen: May 26
Where: On Goodreads HERE
Why: Dystopia meets aliens meets mystery. An interesting mash-up that’s sort of Hunger Games lite.
