Follow Friday Question: What superhero is your alter-ego?

spiderman reboot andrew garfield

A:Honestly, the first character that came to my mind was Spiderman. Even though he’s a dude, I think fighting crime in a spandex suit is pretty awesome. ;)

Also, I’m super excited about the new Spiderman reboot movie with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Plus, the ride at Universal is pretty amazing!

Which superhero is YOUR alter-ego??

Follow Friday Question: If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?

A:Because I love watching this new show on TV, I’d pick Jess from New Girl. I LOVE Zooey Deschanel, and her character is so cute and quirky and adorable!! I’m not so sure about the living with 3 guys thing, but…I basically just want to be Zooey. :)

I’d also love to trade places with Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice and Katsa from Graceling. Both offer amazing romances and power (well, maybe that’s just Katsa…lol)

What literary or TV character would you want to switch places with?

Follow Friday Question: “Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?”

A Voice in the Wind by Francine Rivers

A: These Follow Friday questions keep making me think of Harry Potter! Although I definitely have re-read this series a million times, I’ve also re-read Pride and Prejudice (shocker, I know). Actually, I usually try to re-read that book once a year.

Another series I love re-reading is the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. It’s a Christian fiction series that absolutely blew my mind. It has an endless re-read factor for me. The first book is called A Voice in the Wind, and I highly recommend it! :)

What book or series have you re-read over and over?

Follow Friday Question: “It’s that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?”

A: A lot of books I’ve really enjoyed and imagined myself in (yes, I’m a dork) are Dystopians. But honestly, I think I’d die within 5 minutes if a world like Divergent was real life. I wouldn’t be a Dauntless, that’s for sure…So, I think I’m going to have to go with The Girl in the Steel Corset!

With my recent Steampunk jewelry posts, I’m quickly becoming a huge steampunk fan. I would love to wear an amazing steel corset and ride around on a velocycle while kicking some automaton butt!!

Although I would probably want to avoid the evil killer Machinest…

What book would you want to be transformed to reality?

Follow Friday Question: “Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?”

A: Since I just came off a weekend binge of watching the newest Jane Eyre movie, I’m gonna have to go with Mr. Rochester. He’s not truly depicted as a “bad guy” in the book, but if you think about it- he definitely is.

I mean, he stashes away his crazy wife in his attic, while he spends as much time away from Thornfield mansion as possible. Then, Jane comes into the picture and he seriously tries to MARRY HER, while technically still married to crazy mcgee. (Sorry if this is insensitive- I’m tired and kind of loopy from lack of sleep).

So yeah. Mr. Rochester is kind of a jerk- BUT…he’s got so many redeeming qualities. Like being deep and wounded and vulnerable. I’ll continue to root for him every time I read the book or watch the movie. :D

What evil book villian have you secretly rooted for?
