Top Ten Book to Movie Adaptions I Can’t Wait to Watch

This year and next year at IT for book to movie adaptions.

Here are a few of my favorite ones about to come out…

Top Ten Book to Movie Adaptions I Can’t Wait to Watch

the fault in our stars read breathe relax books to movies

1. The Fault in Our Stars– June 6. Easily one of the best books I’ve ever read. I signed up for the #FeelItFirst campaign, where you can watch the movie June 5th. Myself and my entire book club are showing up for this. It’s gonna be MENTAL.

2. The Giver– Funnily enough, this was another book club pick. I can’t wait to see what they’re going to do with this. (Hopefully not deviate too much from the book…).

3. The Hobbit – There and Back– December 17. Talk about ending on a cliffhanger, Desolation of Smaug?! Loving this re-done series so far. Although 3 movies….really??

4. The Maze Runner – September 19. I JUST finished this book, so I cannot wait to see how the Grievers are conceived by Hollywood.

5. Gone Girl– October 3. With all the changes to the end of the movie that Gillian Flynn is making, I MUST see how things play out. Poor clueless Ben Affleck.

6. Mockingjay: Part 1– November 21. This is a no-brainer. AGH, Katniss!

7. If I Stay– August 22. Moar feelz. This is gonna hurt.

8. Outlander (TV Series)– August 8. I have a copy I’m (forever) borrowing from my friend Mary, so I need to jump on board before the Starz mini-series.

9. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children – July 31, 2015. Um, Tim freaking BURTON is reported to have signed on to this movie. Yeah. It’s going to be AMAZING!!!!

10. The 5th Wave– Probably 2015. I read this book forever ago. All I remember is aliens. So, yeah. Still excited, though!!

What book to movie adaptions are you DYING to see?

Outlander is going to be on STARZ, not HBO. From the trailer, it looks like it still has pretty good production value.

I’m excited for the maze runner, looking forward to seeing how they have recreated the maze atmosphere, the cast is good too. Fault in our stars too, John Green is a great author. The Hobbit, can’t wait, loved LOTR world since before I can remember! Tam

Someone beat me to it about Outlander – STARZ, not HBO. :) Also, I cannot wait until June 6. (no early showings in my dinky little town). And I am dying waiting for October 3 and Gone Girl. I LOVED the book (in the minority) and Ben Affleck is my second husband.

I’m looking forward to seeing The Fault in Our Stars and The Hobbit – There and Back. I suppose December isn’t that far away 😉
