Top Ten Ten Books I’d Hand To Someone Who Says They Don’t Like To Read

twenties girl by sophia kinsella

1 The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams -These books are SO funny and super entertaining. No one cannot like these!

2Moon Called by Patricia Briggs— This book is full of humor, adventure and fun. It’s def not your grandma’s book (although, if your grandma loves urban fantasy, then maybe it is – I’m not judging.)

3Goose Girl by Shannon Hale— I have too many amazing things to say about this book. It’s so well-written and has a beautiful story.

4The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer— I was addicted to these books growing up. I love a good spy novel, and I think a ton of other people love them too.

5Feeling Sorry for Celia by Jacyln Moriarty- This book is SUPER easy to read, as it’s in a letter-writing format. And, it’s cute and silly to boot.

6Twenties Girl by Sophia Kinsella— I LOVED this book and it’s literally impossible to put down. It’s a great book for people who aren’t hardcore readers cuz it’s so easy to get into.

7Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison— I challenge anyone to read these books and not come away smiling. They are hilarious AND there’s a movie you can watch right after you’ve read it, too!!

8The Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Mariliier— People will weep with the beauty of Mariliier’s prose. It’s simply a stunning book (and the beginning of a series!).

9White Cat by Holly Black— A book about conning people, mob families and sinister magic can find a home in anyone’s bookshelf.

10The Princess Bride by William Goldman— YES- there’s actually a book that happened before the movie, and it’s hilarious! I highly recommend checking this out if you don’t like read. Goldman will change your mind…

What books would you hand someone who says they don’t like to read??
