these broken stars amie kaufman fall tbr list

1Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson– Sept. 24. Brandon Sanderson is the master of fantasy. I’m so excited to get my grabby hands on his latest YA book. The premise looks AMAZING! If you love fantasy, check it out!

2Shadows by Robin McKinley– Sept. 26. What’s with all these epic fantasy writers writing new YA books? Not that I’m complaining. This story takes an interesting look at the intersection of fantasy and science.

3Shadowlark by Meagan Spooner– Oct. 1. I absolutely adored Skylark last year. I have a digital ARC and need to read it PRONTO!

4The Brokenhearted by Amelia Kahaney– Oct. 8. Superhero ballerina? YES! Plus it’s pegged as a mix between Cinder and The Dark Knight. They couldn’t have sold me more on it if they tried.

5Across a Star-Swept Sea by Diana Peterfreund– Oct. 15. Another strong retelling from Peterfreund. This is a Scarlet Pimpernel retelling. It sounds pretty crazy in a good way.

6Allegiant by Veronica Roth– Oct. 22. I don’t think I need to explain this one do I?! OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!

7Altered by Gennifer Albin– Oct. 29. Heck yes to this Crewel sequel. Adelice is on the ground, and she’s up to trouble no doubt.

8After Eden by Helen Douglas– Nov. 7. I can’t get enough of time traveling books lately. This one seems romantic and different.

9This Wicked Game by Michelle Zink– Nov. 15. New Orleans, voodoo and priestesses? Yup, Zink is serving up YA gold.

10These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner– Dec. 10. Stranded in space with no one but a cute boy?! Tough life. But seriously, have you seen this cover? TO DIE FOR!

I’m so keen for Allegiant myself – it’s one of the few series I haven’t abandoned.

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater is at the top of my list!
