Top Ten Books On My Winter To-Be-Read List

These posts are just torture because they make me all crazy and anxious to actually be reading these books instead of waiting for months or weeks. But oh the sweet anticipation of these TBRs…

Top Ten Books On My Winter To-Be-Read List

control by lydia kang winter to be read list

1Control by Lydia Kang– I’ve been eying this book for a long time. It’s out the day after Christmas, so I think I know what I’ll be buying myself.

2Taste of Darkness by Maria V. Snyder– This is the final book in the series, and my expectations are high. So high it makes me nervous to get started.

3The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski– Buzz, buzz, buzz. It’s all I’ve heard about this book, and I am ridiculously excited about this one.

4Alienated by Melissa Landers– Aliens are BACK guys. I’m not sure they ever left, but they are getting popular in YA more than ever.

5Tsarina by J. Nelle Patrick, Jackson Pearce– Russia setting + faberge eggs?! Strange and perfect for me.

6Landry Park by Bethany Hagen– “Downton Abbey meets The Selection in this dystopian tale of love and betrayal”….BE STILL MY HEART!

7Infinite by Jodi Meadows– Nother series ender. ZOMG, I just don’t know how this will wrap up. Will everyone die…or just Ana?!?!?

8A Mad, Wicked Folly by Sharon Biggs Waller– I love everything about this idea – a spunky girl taking her life into her own hands in the early 1900s in London. Yup.

9Avalon by Mindee Arnett– I’ll read anything by Arnett at this point. Bring on all the spooky space travel and craziness.

10Erased by Jennifer Rush– Sequel to Altered, which I loved. Boy drama, genetic tampering. So ready for 2014, ya’ll.

What books are you ready to read this winter? Also, can I just say – I live in Florida, so this concept of “winter” is very foreign to me. I don’t even know what months constitutes winter…

I didn’t know Control was released so soon! I’m still waiting to see if I get approved for it on NetGalley, but I’m buying my own copy either way. And I’m not usually a huge fan of aliens, but Alienated sounds really good. Plus the cover is so pretty 😉

I’m currently reading books for requested reviews, so I’m looking forward to reading books off of MY TBR list. Included:
Lover’s at Heart: The Breadens by Melissa Foster
    Invisible by Jean Bannon
The Wizard of Time by G.L. Breedon

Several more, but this is a good start :)

On a personal note of my own, I moved from Florida to Kansas in April. I know what you mean about not really getting “winter” there. I sure get it now, lol.

I haven’t made my list up. But, I don’t know what’s going to happen with winter. I need to get moving more rather than sitting around and doing what I love…reading! 😀 Enjoy all the books and hope you get to them all.
