Top Ten Favorite Book Covers Of Books I’ve Read

1What’s Left of Me by Kat Zhang– I love that the cover plays off of the dual persons portrayed in the book. Ver clever.

2Pivot Point by Kacie West– I think this book cover also plays off the content and plot of the story. Plus, it’s just interesting and I want to keep looking at it.

3Flame of Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier– I love this drawn look. Plus it has dogs – so immediate win.

5Seraphina by Rachel Hartman– Omg, I love how vintage this book cover looks. It’s like retro dragons dominating the world.

7The Evolution of Mara Dyer– I like underwater book covers. I always think to myself how hard it must have been to get that shot, you know? Plus I also like reaching hands. Random, I know.

8Wither by Lauren DeStefano– I loved this cover immediately. I was so interested in who that girl was and what her deal was.

9Born Wicked— This girl is down to mess around, right? Def born wicked.

10Cinder by Marissa Meyer— I actually didn’t like this book cover at first, but it grew on me as I read the story. It’s weird and creepy and sort of clinical…but that’s the whole point. No frilly dresses hurrrrr.

Both Seraphina and For Darkness Shows the Stars have gorgeous covers. I also like the typography of the Mara Dyer book very much, as well as the title font of Cinder.

I have been following your blog for a short time. And making my way down your list of 2011-2012 favorites. I just wanted to say I think your blog is awesome and we are total book BFFs. So I just wanted to let you know I’m blaming you next time my husband gets mad because dinner is an hour late or he has no clean clothes to wear!
