Neil Patrick Harris in talks to star in Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events

I always wondered what happened to the Series of Unfortunate Events movie with Jim Carey (I guess it tanked…?). It’s now being retooled as a live-action event with Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf.

I haven’t read the books, so I don’t really have a particular person in mind for the role. I’m interested to see what happens!

CBS is developing a new TV series where Nancy Drew is a 30-ish NYPD detective, and the President of CBS said said she’ll be “diverse, that is the way she is written … [She will] not [be] Caucasian. I’d be open to any ethnicity.”
